Thank you, dear Friends, for all your support and love this year 2021!

Can you believe it – we are now in the final month of 2021? Another year has flashed by with all its challenges and joys. November has been a busy month with lots of people connections, church meetings and administration. It has seemed like our email quota for the year arrived in one week! We have also been determined to keep focussed and complete the final editing and related work for the publishing of my next book, Spiritual Architects. Plus, it has been a family time with grandkids and other wonderful distractions.

As we prepare ourselves for this Christmas season in 2021, I was so struck by the scripture in Luke 2, where the Shepherds encounter the angels and go to Bethlehem to see Jesus. We read this passage as follows: 

An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.’13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,14 ‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.’ Luke 2:9-14

Here is another ascending and descending moment of the angels – Glory and Peace! As I have shared recently on the November Trumpet Call (https://youtu.be/egatyb8aCW4) I feel God wants us to be a people of His presence (ascending) but also a people carrying His peace (descending). We have been so used to training ourselves to ascend into the presence of God.  Once we feel that sweet sense of His intimacy, we feel that we have arrived and we do not want to move! But God has been speaking to me about a Jacob generation that know how to ascend into the Heavens and then descend on earth carrying this presence. When we read the story of Jacob, we notice he only recognised God was in his space when he saw BOTH the ascending and descending of the angels. That made him exclaim – Wow God is here – I just did not realise it. In the same way, when Jesus was born and came to earth, He came with a message of ascending GLORY in the HEAVENS and the descending PEACE on EARTH! I believe that this Christmas, God is asking us to create places of touchdown where the portals of heaven can come and touch our community spaces. Recently a person gave me this prophetic picture of a large water wheel standing on dry land. On this wheel were buckets and, as the wheel rotated, the buckets were filled with water at the top of the rotation from Heaven and then, as it continued to turn, it poured out the water onto the land.  I believe that God says, as you TURN TOWARDS God and ascend the hill of the LORD,  you will be refreshed and receive fresh water from Him and then He will turn you and you will pour it out on the dry and thirsty ground around you. Get ready for this new season of refreshment and harvest. So I trust you have a most amazing time preparing for Christmas in your churches and homes. Let His presence soak everything we do!

November was a month of the unexpected and wonderful. Unfortunately, a few appointments were cancelled as various individuals had COVID and so a Sunday service in Brecon was cancelled. Then I was unable to attend the prophetic roundtable in Glasgow as I contracted shingles. This was really disappointing as I was looking forward to connecting with friends after such a long time. But we had a wonderful time in Burton with KAN on Remembrance Sunday, special prayer day in London, and a great Sunday in Wimbledon. Duncan completed on his house in Witney and now has the keys. Gordon has fully recovered from his surgery and is able to drive again and so life is more normal at home. 

Also, on Saturday 13th we had another Legacy Refresh Day. This was a special time of dedication around the  communion table where we knew God broke many chains. We battled with various technical issues but still the presence of God and the worship left a deep deposit of joy. It was a great day. And now we are preparing for our next Legacy Day on the 22nd January 2022. We are entering days of opportunity and this scripture in Isaiah 22:22 is key:  And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. This will be a START THE YEAR PROPHETIC DAY for 2022 which will be powerful! A time of worship, prayer and prophetic discussion and ministry, so do come!! The day will run from 10am – 1pm with an opportunity to bring your own lunch and stay on until 2pm to share fellowship with each other. December will be a quieter month ministry-wise but we will still be connecting online with our Trumpet Call and final sessions of the Clarity Series on Facebook and YouTube so please do not forget this! We will not be writing a newsletter at the end of December so do watch our social media and website calendar for details of the Legacy Day and other conferences in January.
