We’re all wishing that corona would just go away 
Tired of only seeing friends through Zoom 
I can visit only if you stand two feet away
My mask’s the only one I can talk to
Social Distancing woo hoo

We’re going into an economic crisis 
Figuring what’s fake and true
Never thought this is where we would be 
And I bet you didn’t too  

Everybody wants corona to go away 
To get back, and be all that we used to 
But keep smiling don’t give up my friend and have some faith 
And keep hoping our dreams come true ooh ooh

We’re not going on a summer holiday
We’ve been shielding for a month or two
Covid-19 has kept us inside,
No need for sun screen for me or you,
For a month or two

Even though the sun is shining brightly
We’ve been stuck inside since March 
Friends are doing all our shopping
It’s making us all feel blue

We’d really like a summer holiday
Doing things we all love to do
But we’re not going on a summer holiday
To keep us safe from the virus
